Letter to Treasurer Chiang
http://www.commonomicsusa.org/ and various Califonian groups sent a letter to Treasurer Chiang envisioning a network of public banks.
Cities want to divest from oil and have no meaningful place to put the money. Public banks would provide a chance for a systems change so our money empowers change we chose.
It’s important to have clear charters in any banks which to California’s many social, economic, and environmental policy objectives.
